We collect account details (name, email, phone), delivery addresses, order history, device and app settings (including language, notification, email, and SMS preferences), payment method metadata, and, if you allow it, approximate location to sort nearby restaurants. Payment card numbers are handled by Stripe or PayPal, not stored on Zuka servers.
We use this information to operate the marketplace: checkout, delivery, pickup, Meal Pass, receipts, order updates (push, email, SMS when you opt in), customer support, fraud prevention, and improving recommendations. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Vendors receive the order details they need to prepare food. Drivers receive delivery address and contact details for an assigned job. Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), email (Amazon SES or Resend), SMS (Twilio), hosting, and analytics providers process data on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law.
We keep order and account records as needed for tax, dispute, and support purposes, then delete or de-identify them. Access is restricted to staff who need it. No method of transmission is completely secure; we use industry-standard controls including HTTPS and tokenized payments.
You can update profile, addresses, and notification preferences (order updates, email, SMS, offers) in the app. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information via Contact us or by emailing support@zukaongo.com, subject to legal retention duties. Depending on your state of residence (for example, California), you may also have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of any sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Zuka is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
