We disclose personal information to authorities only when legally required by a valid order, warrant, subpoena or other enforceable process. We check each request’s authenticity, legal authority, jurisdiction and scope, and disclose only what is necessary.
Where the law allows and it is appropriate, we tell the affected customer about the request. Emergency requests involving a risk to life or safety are assessed under applicable law and documented.
