1Our approach#
We keep personal information according to documented business, legal, security and operational needs, and no longer. How long depends on the kind of information, why we hold it, the law, any open dispute, and what is needed to delete it securely.
2Typical retention#
- Account and profile details: while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
- Orders, payments, taxes and refunds: kept as long as tax, accounting and dispute laws require, de-identified once your account is deleted.
- Driver location during deliveries, delivery photos, support messages and diagnostic logs: kept only as long as needed to run deliveries, resolve issues and keep the service secure.
- Marketing preferences: kept while your account exists so we respect your choices.
We will publish specific retention periods for each category once they are approved by our legal, finance and security teams.
3Deletion#
Information we no longer need is deleted, irreversibly anonymised or otherwise securely disposed of. Backups are rotated on a schedule, so deleted data also leaves backups over time.
